Rant: Kanej (Six of Crows) Spoilers for SOC and CK

 Hey people, 

You may know that I am absolutely OBSESSED with Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. There are so many things I love about that book. The world-building, the plot, the characters. But something that really stood out to me was KANEJ. Listen, I love Nina and Matthias, Wylan and Jesper. They are absolutely adorable and perfect in their own way. But the different thing about Kanej is that although they NEVER actually get together in the entire duology. They were wholly meant to be together. They relate to many things that the others just don't understand. All of the other Crows have severe childhood trauma, but I think Inej and Kaz were affected differently, which caused them to relate to one another. Also, Inej will only fully let down her guard once Kaz does, which is why "Kanej" will never happen (even if I cry and beg for it). What are the chances that Kaz will slightly let down his guard for Inej? Especially now that Inej has left Kerch for Ravka, she won't be there to help him. I doubt he would go to Jesper or Wylan. Not even Nina. 

There are some scenes I want to go over because I love them so much. One scene I liked was where Inej gives Kaz his gloves back in the Ice Court, and he HOLDS HER WRIST, and he goes to say like if we don't survive this and, she is like, then I will die brave of something. AND WHEN SHE SAYS THAT, SHE CUPS HIS CHIN LIKE WHATTTTTT. I saw kicking, screaming, and crying over that one. They want each other, but they won't give in. It's so UGHHHHH. There was a scene where Kaz asks Inej to stay with him in Ketterdam, and she is like NO. Only if you can show me that you can be like normal to me, I can be with you. That made me want to cry. There are so many more scenes I could go ON and ON about, but we should all petition for SOC book three with Inej and Kaz reuniting and all that adorable stuff. Like Kaz would freeze, Inej would pull out some Suli proverb, Jesper would pull out a nostalgic joke, and then Kaz and Inej would have an eye-to-eye conversation moment thing. OH WATTPAD WRITERSSSS. INSPO HEREEE.  I would read that...ANYWAY, this is what I think about Kanej. They are adorable, and I will manifest even though I know it probably won't happen. So, happy reading.
