Good Books for School Projects/Reports
Have you ever been in a situation where you need to pick a book for school and can't figure out what book to get? I have been in that situation many times and now have a solution for you. But this would only be for fiction because if you know me, you would know that I hate nonfiction and am absolutely obsessed with fiction, so here we go.

First up on my list is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.
The book is about a young girl in Germany during WWII who is being put into a foster home after losing her brother. This book has a timeline of many years as Leisel, the main character, grows up. As she grows up, she steals books and goes through many incidents because of her situation in the war. This book has many places to analyze and think deeper about the story. This book is also well-paced and perfect for middle-grade readers and above.

Another good one would be A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi. This book is about a Muslim teenager's life a year after the 9/11 attack. Shirin, the main character, just wants to live her life. But with the prejudices against the Muslim community, Shirin is constantly getting harassed and attacked for wearing a hijab. But then she gets paired up with a boy named Ocean for a new lab partner. After talking to him, she realizes that Ocean is the only person who genuinely thinks of her as a natural person, not an outsider. Through this book, we learn about the actual weight a prejudice can have on people and how we can overcome these things. This book is excellent and short but with so much deep meaning. You can explain many things in this book and analyze many other things.

From personal experience, I also think the book A Good Girl's Guide to Murder would be a good one, too. I have talked about this book in previous posts, but in summary, this book is about a girl named PIP who wants to see this murder case that happened in her town as a project for her school. Although the case was already closed and they found the alleged murderer, Pip still believes that the alleged murder was the actual murder. I love this book because it is so fast-paced, and that can keep people interested even if they don't love to read. I did this book for a project, and it was so simple to summarize and explain things that mattered without spoiling anything. Honestly, I just really love this book, and it's so fun to read.
Well, that's it. I hope you find some inspiration to find a book for your upcoming book project. Goodbye and happy reading.
